  Notes	[From "The Barters of Avondale"] William Talmadge (Bill) Barter moved to Vancouver in 1911 and then to Los Angeles in 1928 to join his two brothers James and John. He worked with them for many years in the building business. In the late 1940's he returned to Canada to live in Gibsons Landing in retiremenmt. He died in the Shaughnessy Veterans Hospital, Vancouver.
