  Notes	Carla: There were 2 Catherine Akerleys. The Catherine Akerley who m. John Knox was the d/o Oliver and Lucy(Ward) Akerley. This can be established from the papers involved with the estate of Oliver who d. intestate ca Apr. 1843. His 5th dau. Esther Maria Mead, wife of William Mead, was apponted administrator of the estate on 1 June 1844. A list of Oliver's children is among these papers and one of the children was "Catherine Knox, living somewhere in the state of Maine". The reference for this is Queens Co. Probate, Box 7, 1844, on Mormon film # 851, 178. I do not know the names of the parents of the Catherine Akerley who m Solomon Wright. The Loyalist Obediah Akerley had a dau. Catherine but, I do not know her husband's name. Mary Akerley, d/o Oliver and Lucy(Ward) Akerley was listed, in the estate papers mentioned two paragraphs above, as a "spinster".
