  Notes	Nehemiah WARD (Jr.), a farmer, born in Attleboro, Massachusetts in 1740 was granted land in the Upper Tantramar region of what is now New Brunswick- but was then part of Nova Scotia- in 1763. He was a descendant of William WARD 1600-1687 (originally WARDE) a leather seller- or "cordwainer" of London, England, who went to Massachusetts between 12 July 1639 and 22 January 1640.
