      1175 We regret to learn that on Friday last, during the severe gale, Geo. MOSES s/o Capt. MOSES, Campobello (Charlotte Co.) and Henry KAYE, Indian Island were drowned by the upsetting of a boat while endeavouring to succour the crew of a vessel in distress.

      1904 We learn by Telegraph that the persons drowned at Indian Island (Charlotte Co.) were Capt. Henry KAY (not John KAY as stated in our last) and George MOSES. The former was a captain of one of the schooners fitted out last season for the Government of Nova Scotia for the protection of the fisheries; left wife, four children. The latter was a son of Capt. Moses of West. Isles, unmarried.
