  Notes	[JohnSteadman.FTW] Provided by: John B. Lisle Charles and Frances STEADMAN lived in Aylesford, Kings County, Nova Scotia. They had five children. Charles and Frances came to Hampton before 1838. They joined the Baptist Church in Hampton on April 23, 1842, along with their sons, James and Charles. In 1861, they were still in the Bridgetown district; he was aged 60-70; his wife 50-60. In 1871 were aged 74 and 65, respectively. Apparently, they moved about a great deal in hteir younger days, as Granville Township records list their children as being born in Cornwallis, Peticodiac, and Granville. Charles Stead and his family moved to Brookfield in December 1842, but returned to Hampton the next year. Chute said that in old age, Charles and Frances STEADMAN lived with their daughter Julia Ann Loyte in Lynn, Massachusetts; where Frances died in October of 1873 at age 68 and Charles in 1876 at age 79.
