  Notes	County Albert Place Albert Newspaper The Maple Leaf W. Alder trueman was born at Wallace, N.S. on Jan. 29, 1849. In 1856 his parents moved to Point de Bute (West. Co.) N.B. where he resided until 1869. He was educated at the common schols and Mount Allison institution at Sackville. In 1869 he attended training school in St. John, after which he had charge of a school, In Trinity term 1873, he entered the study of law in the office of the present Justice King, then Attorney General. He was sworn an attorney of the Supreme Court in June 1877 and was called to the Bar in June 1878. On July 1, 1877 he entered partnership with Jos. Howe DICKSON, Esq., Sackville. This partnership was dissolved on Nov. 11, 1878. On Nov. 18, same year, Mr. trueman entered partnership with Hon. P.A. LANDRY of Dorchester, to which place he removed and contined with Mr. Landry up to Sept. 6, 1880. The same month he removed to Albert (then called Hopewell Corner), at which place he has since resided. He is solicitor of the Halifax Banking Co. for this county and secretary and trustee of the school in this district. W.A. trueman is a son of Rufus F. trueman, who still resides at Point de Bute, and has no brothers or sisters of the whole blood living, but has two half brothers quite young. His sister, Alma trueman, died in 1872, age 17 years. [3]
