      OBITUARIES - GEORGE WILLIAM KYLE - Died in hospital here on March 27, George
      William Kyle at the age of 75. He was born in St. John, N.B. and was a
      recent newcomer to the Okanagan, having taken up residence on the Vernon
      Road in November of last year. He came here at that time from Winnipegosis,
      Man. He is survived by his wife and five children, Perry and George in
      Kelowna, and Charles in Manitoba, Mrs. Margaret Hepner, also in Manitoba,
      and Mrs. Mary Parsons, Walcott, BC. Funeral Services were held today, March
      31, from the chapel of Day's Funeral Service, Rev. M. Garrett officiating.
      Interment Kelowna Cemetery.

      On Thursday evening last, at the Methodist Church, Mr. William Kyle was married to Miss Glover, Staff Sergt. Ayer of the Salvation Army, Calgary, officiating. The bride was assisted by Miss Pettit and the groom by Jas. Hole. After the ceremony, a wedding dinner was held in the Barracks, at which there were quite a number present, but not as many as would otherwise have been had it not been election night.
