DEATHS - KYLE Funeral service for the late Mrs. Ellen Kyle, aged 85 years who passed away in Vernon Hospital on Monday Feb. 3 will be held from Day's Chapel of Remembrance on Wednesday Feb. 5 at 2 p.m. Lieut. Jarvie and Lieut. Wicks of the Salvation Army will conduct the service, interment in the Kelowna Cemetery. Mr. Kyle predeceased in 1947. Surviving Mrs. Kyle are three sons and two daughters, 14 grandchildren, and four great grandchildren. Day's Funeral Service Ltd., in charge of the arrangements.

On Thursday evening last, at the Methodist Church, Mr. William Kyle was married to Miss Glover, Staff Sergt. Ayer of the Salvation Army, Calgary, officiating. The bride was assisted by Miss Pettit and the groom by Jas. Hole. After the ceremony, a wedding dinner was held in the Barracks, at which there were quite a number present, but not as many as would otherwise have been had it not been election night.
