Mrs. G. W. Hazen
Mrs. Grace W. Hazen, widow of George W. Hazen former manager of the Eastern Canada Savings and Loan Company, Halifax, died Saturday at home 1548 Larch Street. Mrs. Hazen was the former Grace Wilmot Trueman, of Saint John, N. B. She is survived by one daughter, Nancy, and one brother Bayard Trueman, both of Halifax. Her body is at the Halifax Funeral Home, 6270 Quinpool Road. Funeral Service will be held at. St. Paul's Anglican Church. Tuesday at 2 p. m. Interment will be in Camp Hill Cemetery.
Grace was a nurse during the WWI and had nursed Geo W. Hazen back to health, and they later become engaged and married. Unfortunately, in her later years she became an invalid due to a heart condition and a series of strokes. |
